Associate Professor and Head of the 'Defense and Society' department at IRSEM. A Sciences Po Paris PhD and Habilitation holder (2023), his research focuses on military sociology, ethnicity, immigration, discrimination, radicalization, and the MENA region. He has authored numerous sociology articles and published two books in 2022, including Penser la radicalisation djihadiste, which won the Louis Massignon Prize (2023) and the First Book Award from the International Association of French-Speaking Sociologists (2024).
