Postdoctoral researcher on religion and security at Utrecht University. His research explores religious leaders' roles in counterterrorism in Nigeria and Kenya. Winner of the 2024 E-International Relations Article Award. His book Towards a New Christian Political Realism (Routledge, 2025) examines religion’s role in international relations.
