Professor at George Mason University and Director of its AbuSulayman Center for Global Islamic Studies, he is also Senior Fellow at Georgetown’s Berkley Center and the Atlantic Council. He previously held senior roles at the U.S. State Department and USAID, specializing in religion’s role in U.S. foreign policy.
