Steven B. Smith
Alfred Cowles Professor of Political Science at Yale University, where he also co-directs the Center for the Study of Representative Institutions. His research focuses on the history of political philosophy, the relation between religion and politics, and theories of representative government. He is the author of several books, including Reading Leo Strauss and Modernity and Its Discontents.
